Hi all,
Our builder (last summer) put in an autofill but we discovered getting water to it came with enough challenges that we never hooked it up. Genrally forgot about it but I'm now mid slam despite being really on top of everything on the pool.
My theory is that the autofill has water in it on the pool end that is just stuck in there, and the other end of that pipe is just open waiting to be plumbed, so that's likely not awesome. The pool end of it is a standard eyeball return.
I assume for pool closings (never done that -- Atlanta) and other reasons there must be some kind of more permanent seal or plug that I can at least isolate that stagnant pipe from the pool? Anyone got a link or a recommendation?
