Saltwater system for 10ft pool

Hi,
I've bought an 10ft Intex pool recently, which came with a Filter pump. I assume this is the 330gph model.

I'd like to use a saltwater system to keep it clean.

In the UK, access to parts is pretty limited. I can get my hands on the CG-26668 Saltwater system, which works for pools up to 7000 gallons, but requires a filter pump with a flow rate of 700gph. I'm wondering if there is any chance that this model will work with my existing filter pump, and if a 700gph pump would work with such a small pool? My other option is to wait it out for the CG-26664 model, but these seem incredibly hard to find.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Welcome to TFP

The larger pump will work way better for your pool and going SWG is a great option if you can find them now... For a pool that size you can also use a large spa/hot tub SWG..

I have to warn you up front.. I LOVE DIY

You can get this salt water generator and install it in your system and turn it on for 1 or 2 hours a day and have chlorine for years, even if it lasted only 5 years it costs less than 100 pounds per year, it should last longer than that only running 1 to 2 hours a day...

8 grams an hour is 1 oz of chlorine or 4 ppm Free Chlorine in your 1800 gallon pool.. You would just need a timer to turn on and off the SWG...

I wish I could find a system like that here, 500 dollars for a complete DIY system.. they are going for 1500 dollars here...

I don't mind DIY, but the CG-26668 I found is about £200, so going to for that instead.

I'm also having a hard time finding Cyanuric Acid for the pool - do you think I'll need this from day 1, or can I kick off the SWG for a few extra hours while waiting for something to stablise the chlorine?

Can you get dichlor (shock)? That is 50% CYA and will add it quickly while maintaining your FC waiting on the SWCG.
