Saltwater impact on my pool

I think in general it is a good idea to seal any natural stone around the pool, whether salt or not. Remember, even non SWG pools can get up to a couple 1000ppm of salt.

I'm not personally a fan of sealing stone. We have unsealed flagstone around our pool and it has had no material changes in 5 years. The most popular stone sealer is Dupont Stone Tec.

Yes that's PA bluestone. It quite a dense stone unless you have some pieces that want to flake. If you see no flaking currently it should not begin. I'm in year five with zero flaking and PA Bluestone. Ours is natural cleft, meaning not machine finished on top, just how it was split. This kind would be most likely to flake and ours isn't.

Even this piece that looks like it wants to flake hasn't. I did seal one year in but won't be bothering any longer.
