Salt Friendly Volleyball or Basketball Hoop - Worth the Extra $$ ?

I'm getting a volleyball and basketball set (anchors are already installed). Anyone think I need to pay extra for "salt friendly" gear vs regular stainless? The salt friendly stuff says it is vinyl coated stainless steel. I honesty doubt I need it given how much salt is actually in the system.

If they offer it, I buy it (at least regarding salt friendliness). I'm not going to be the one saying "I should have spent the extra $$". But, yes, there are different levels of insurance.

Do you have a link to the ones you are considering?
 
Gotcha, I see it. I'd choose the salt friendly version. I'd have no regrets, and I like the black aesthetic better than bright SS for around the pool.

Need to? Wait 10+ years and you'll have your answer.
