The article explains it all. The amount will be based on your filter pressure.
 
Did you meet all three criteria for successful completion of the SLAM Process?
If the water wasn't clear, with no visible signs of algae (dead or alive) and you didn't pass an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test - you terminated the SLAM too early.

Do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test and report back.
Is the water crystal clear with no visible signs of algae (dead or alive)?
