Run boost pump and polaris without filter pump ?

Still waiting on freeze damage repair parts, so filter pump is inop. Pool is full and would like to if possible rub polaris to do some filtering / cleaning... Any downside to running boost pump and seeing if it's enough to power polaris ?

Depends where the pickoff is for suction into your booster pump. Good chance it cannot maintain suction from your skimmers running alone, run dry, and be damaged.
