Robotic pool vacuum under the cover

I am looking at the Dolphin Premier. Does anyone know how well it would work with the cover on the pool?

I have young children and don't like to leave the pool uncovered for several hours while it cleans. If I make sure it has plenty of power cord will it work while the cover is on and the cord and excess cord underneath the cover?

I don't know about the Premier but my Doheny's Discovery, (same as Maytronics S200, same as Dolphin Active20, same as Dolphin Triton), works just fine under my solar cover. When it hits it it goes back down.

I have an autocover that I leave shut often with the robot running. No problems at all!

I've got the premier and it does fine under my auto cover.
