I have purchased 2 robot pool vacumns and they have both died within about 10 uses. Both models were around $400. Is this a common thing or do I just keep getting duds? The most recent was the sea crab pool vacumn. HELP! I hate vacumning my pool
There are so many models on the market so expect performance capability will be very different.
Do you want cordless or corded vacuum? The cordless robots are newer technology but some have worked well.
There is a wide array of corded vacuums which have performed well.
It is disappointing because it is a good looking bot, well designed and when it works it seems to work pretty darn good and it's priced right with all of the discounts. In my unprofessional opinion it seems like a competent programmer that has reviewed/analyzed customer feedback could solve...

There is another for the Beatbot AquaSense - it is much more expensive but has very positive comments. Search the forum for it.
