Robot in or Robot out?

I see where some people say take your robot out after every use while others say leave it in. My unit the Dolphin Active 30 has a feature on the app (when it connects properly which is a PiTA) which allows you to schedule it a week at a time doing different patterns and times each day. I like this feature but really only makes sense if you leave it in to do its thing.If you take it out and forget to put it in I guess it will start while sitting in its cart which can't be good. What are others doing. Is leaving it in my salt pool going to dramatically shorten its lifespan.Any feedback on how to keep these things connected or reconnecting to internet is welcome. It's a real problem on my unit. Thanks

My dolphin stays in the pool 24x7, unless I'm cleaning it out, or straightening the cable. No issues.
