Ridge developed in pool wall

Hey all,

Recently I noticed a raised ridge has developed on a section of my pool wall. The other strange thing is it looks like it's coming from some sort of PVC pipe built underneath the liner of my pool lower on the wall. The liner in this area appears to have be sucked towards this PVC pipe (you can now see the outline of it) and the ridge runs up from it. Does anyone know what the pipe underneath the liner is? The pool company can't come out for a couple of weeks. Should I drain my pool until they can tell me what's going on? I don't know how serious this could be and don't want to run the risk of further damage.

Thanks!

Are you quite sure there is a solid pipe under that wrinkle? Hard to tell by pics. What kind of pool are we talking about. Please add that info to a signature line in your profile.

Sorry, it's a 32k gallon Vinyl lined oval shaped pool. I'll add the rest of the details to my signature for the future.

If you open the picture titled "pipe behind liner" and zoom in where I've circled it in red you can see the outline against the liner. It looks exactly like the outline of a pipe coming out of some sort of port. You can see the outside ring of the port and then the inside pipe.
