I am researching a new safety cover for my 18 x 36 inground pool and a good, used 1 came available on my local craigslist for same size pool for $200. How can I make sure it will align with my anchors? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It isn't hard to drill new holes and plug the old holes. But the answer is buy it and see! Cover anchors are custom drilled usually when they are first installed. True safety covers are upwards of $2500.
