Replacing pool light bulb

Well it seems like our pool light bulb has burned out after barely 2-1/2 years of minimal use. It's just a regular light bulb, not a color changing or LED bulb. I've seen some videos online that make the replacement look fairly simple. Does this sound right?

1. Turn off main breaker to pool equipment
2. Unscrew plastic ring around light fixture (one screw on the top of ring)
3. Pull fixture (with wiring harness) out of pool and lay on pool deck
4. Replace bulb
5. Insert back into place
6. Screw plastic ring back in
7. Turn power back on

I guess I'll know what size bulb to replace it with once I've gotten it out and on the pool deck?

Any tips? Tricks? Suggestions?

That is it (assuming they left enough of the cord behind the fixture :hammer:)
Often recommend to replace the seal when you open up the fixture.
Likely can find an LED equivalent bulb that will last a long time.
