Replacing Maytronics Cord - Active 20

I’ve ordered a new cord assembly with swivel for my active 20 robot, the DIY part number matching the current end.

The robot end of the cord the plug seems to be coated with some sort of dielectric grease to help keep water out. Will the new one come with this grease, or do I need to provide it? If I do what is the recommended type?

10,

The new cable will not have any 'grease'. I think it is nothing more than normal 'pool lube' that you would use to coat any O-ring. The rubber O-ring is what is supposed to keep it water tight.

Have you already disconnected the cable from your current robot?

Why are you replacing the cable?

Thanks,

Jim R.

I just replaced my cable that Maytronics sent out under warranty. They cable came dry without any lube on the rubber bits. I added a little pool lube to it, the same stuff I use on my pump lids.
