So, I love my filter but want to entertain the idea of a 2-speed motor. I want to keep the wet end pump, just replace the motor. I have the hayward matrix pump now. The RPM is 3450, can someone help me get what I need to make this work?

Yes replacing with a 2 speed pump will save you money and yes keeping your wet end if in good shape will be less work on your part. I suggest calling Swimming Pool Supplies - Pool Parts - INYOPools.com The folks would be able to help you. You will have to have the model number of the pump so that they can match up the correct 2 speed motor. Also if you made a small donation CLICK HERE to Become a TroubleFreePool.com Supporter! you would be eligible for a $25 discount. Let us know how it goes and good luck.
