Greetings .. I have a 2.7 HP Varible speed pool motor that I have had issues with seemly did not pump enough volume of water .....I pulled the pump and found the Diffuser was off the impeller laying inside the pump housing ...Motor seemed to be noisier than I believe it should be so was going to change to new bearings .... main Problem right now is I cant figure how to remove the allen screw holding the internal cooling fan ....anyone know id it is right or left hand thread? using an electric impact wrench and dont really have the shaft locked down solid just holding the fan by hand ... maybe thats the reason? thanks for any advice? mike
