Replacing 24' Round pool

Hello, all. I'm looking for some suggestions on a DIY 24' round replacement pool install. I was wondering if it is necessary to remove the sand that was under the old liner and also will I still need the recommended 3.5 yards of new sand? I have to concerns about the construction off the pool itself but the base I am a little uneasy about.

Thank you for any feedback!

If the pool that sat there previous was the same size and sat level for all it's years then disturb as little as possible ground wise.

No need to replace the sand under the liner. Pull the sand cove back far enough into the pool to give you room to set the new wall up.

You shouldn't need any new sand but you may want to loosen up the surface a bit with a garden rake before the new liner goes in.

Awesome! Thank you for your reply.
