Replace two solar panels

Hi,
I replaced two solar panels that were leaking. The new panels have a 2" header where as the old panels are 1.5". I used the following coupling to marry the two. I did end up with water leaking from two of these connections. My panels are on the 2nd story roof and panels are very near the edge (I'm not keen on working at the very edge of the roof). Are these couplings ok to use? If not, what options do I have? Thanks in advance.

They work fine provided your two headers are close together, if not the middle will bulge and eventually break. Fernco fittings are best.

They will work provided the distance between your panels isn’t big.
