Hello, our pool was build in 1983 and has never been replastered. Back in 2003 we decided to paint the pool with Ramuc brand paint. The surface is looking pretty rough now and I'm leaning towards a re-plaster job. The trouble is that there is still a lot of paint left on the surface. I put a pressure washer up to it but it is still bonded very strong. I wouldn't think that they could re-plaster over the paint.
Do companies usually break up the old plaster anyways before re-plastering or do I need to get in there with something to get it off? What would someone use to remove paint if so?
