Reminder: Don't forget to clean the anti-airlock hole in your cover pump!

New (~6mo old) Superior Pool Cover pump was acting funny. Would pump during initial rain, but then it would stop and many times it wouldn't restart if there was a break in the rain. Of course, this would happen overnight or during the middle of heavy rains so I'd wake up to a cover full of water or would have to tread out in the rain to reset it. I thought it was a float problem or overheating. I finally took off the cover and went looking for the anti-airlock hole and sure enough there was a piece of leaf debris stuck in it. Cleared it, and it's been running correctly for the last few days through off and on rain.

But nope - just gunk thank goodness!
