Balancing my pool today, before cutting pipe to install the new SWG, which will be fully installed and running in a few days (electrician coming).
From the Pool School article here, it sounds like a pH of 7.2 to 7.5 is recommended, and then monitor for it going up. Acceptable range is 7.2 to 7.8
I switched my pool in the app to use a SWG. But it is telling me Ideal is 7.6-7.8, recommended 7.2-8.0
Who do I believe?

pH anywhere in the 7's is just fine.

Lots of little things don't exactly agree in this place.

Pool water chemistry does not not need to be exact, just close enough.
