After reading some posts here it looks like I should have switched to SWG a long time ago. I'm not sure Costco would want me to, but it seems like it would make my life a little easier, maybe?

Thoughts and recommendations?

I had replaced the pump and filter myself a few years ago - is this something I'd be able to do? Where in the picture do I hook into, or is described once I get the SWG?

Thank you

Sure you can. We recommend sizing for 2-3x the volume of your pool. So, you are looking at something in the 60k range. Pentair has the IC60 if you want to stay with that ... perhaps get the automation system to also control your pumps. Or Circupool has some SWGs that size.

It would go after your heater on the horizontal run most likely. You may extent away from the heater further to give more straight pipe toward the valves.

That is quite annoyingly tight equipment pad plumbing.
