I ordered a 24 x 44 vinyl inground pool kit with steel walls and 4 foot radius corners. Working on the 6 foot deck. Does anyone have information on how to space and install rebar and expansion joints? What type of expansion joints? Thanks

If I put rebar on 2 foot centers at the expansion joints, am I supposed to cut the rebar?

I typically see the rebar run continuously, and the expansion joints are simply tooled joints spaced appropriately.
I think there will be a step where you also tie that rebar into the top of the pool walls. It might be worth seeing if the manufacturer has either an installation guide or a technical department that can walk you through the process.

Thanks. Most of the information I could find was for Concrete Pools. It seems like to actually expand if you would have to not join the rebar between pieces.
