I have a concern. Plumbing is seen placed down the middle of the spa, cocktail pool, and Baja pools on top of the excavation floor rather than buried under either aggregate or the soil. In my opinion, the long-running pipes in the middle of these structures have scored the gunite and become potential control joints if conditions force the shell to move. These are weak points in the pool structure. With no aggregate or drainage under the pool, cracks in the gunite will allow moisture to reach and damage the reinforcement and increase the risk of damaging the plumbing. Thoughts and anything else you see wrong?
