Yesterday I went to 3 different pool stores in search of reagents for my K2006 and 1766 test kits. To my surprise all 3 stores said they no longer sell reagents for test kits because their equipment is more accurate for water testing!
My questions are:
Can TFP reagents be substituted for Taylor?
If not, where can I purchase reagents? I have used Amazon and have received outdated chemicals.
By the way, I had the pool store test my water yesterday and the results were not even close except for the salt.
The pool store had two alkalinity readings:
TA input and TA adjusted?????

TF-100 uses the same reagents as the k-2006, with the exception if a different pH one. TFTestkits even sells a complete k-2006 refill. Their product tends to be extremely fresh and they are great at fixing any problems if they were to accidentally send an old bottle or the wrong item.

The adjusted alkalinity takes CYA in to account. I'm not entirely sure what the point of it is since we don't use it and I have never had any reason to calculate it. Sure messes us up when we don't know someone's alkalinity reading is adjusted, another reason we won't even touch pool store test results.
