Reagent life span

Inside the cover of my Taylor FAS-DPD, K2006-C kit it recommends replacing reagents annually. Does everyone else replace annually? Or can I keep using the reagents until I need to replace them?

The recommendation is based on average storage. IF the reagents are stored in-cool climate control, they can sometimes have a slightly extended shelf life.
Phenol Red (for PH testing) has the shortest shelf life, it will turn colors (look yellow or purple) OR stain the bottle it's in once it goes bad.
IF the reagents have not changed color OR staining the storage bottle, then it's "use at your own risk".

I do use ours until I see staining or don't get an expected result (one nice thing about "learning" your pool).
