Hi all-
So we are ready for plaster. Using Wet Edge Prism Matrix Southern Lights.
Pool was cleaned and prepped Friday for plaster on Monday. Water seems to have seeped back into pool from the holes here on the bottom. (See pic)
Is this normal?

Hello Chris, welcome to TFP! Those dribbles are perfectly okay. Gunnite is not waterproof, that's what the plaster is for.

Have you seen these Trouble Free Pool articles-

I hope something of the above is helpful to you. :)

Yes normal, plaster crew will seal with a plaster mix around all pipes and lights before starting the application of the surface areas.

You essentially live on top of a swamp, aka Houston, so the ground water need to be allowed to seep up into the pool while construction is on going or else the shell will pop up out of the ground from the hydrostatic pressure. The plaster crew will seal it all up and clean it, then apply the plaster. Once it’s full of water you will be fine.
