Due to the grading of the land, I'd like to add a couple of inches to the height of my new pool pad. Question is, are these former air conditioning base pads OK to use for the oil heater and pump?

I have two different larger pads shown in the pictures. The first is a concrete looking/feeling material, with what looks like a styrofoam core. Pics of front and back are below. The second is plastic with plastic ribbing as you can see in the photo of the bottom.

Alternately, I can build a base of 2" high, 8' x 16" concrete pavers, on top of our existing, solid bluestone base.

I also have a couple of smaller pads that I can use for the pumps that are shown in the last two pics.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Yeah... that is what my builder used for both my pads. I don't like them (they sag and collect water) but they get the job done. I wish I had a poured pad. Oh well.
