Raise PH

Hi folks,

My Ph is at 7.2 and my TA is 70, my question is should I use the borax to raise it to the 7.6 mark I enjoy, with the risk of bringing up the TA to an unacceptable number? Or just try to aerate the water and if so how long does it take roughly.
FC 5.0, CH 375, CYA 40, Temp 82

I would not touch it at all. With a plaster pool it'll be up again in a day or 2.

^^I agree.^^ A pH of 7.2 is still acceptable. I'd leave it alone and just be glad you don't have to mess with acid for a few days.
