We just bought a DOLPHIN NAUTILUS CC SUPREME. I want to build a rainproof enclosure to protect the power supply. I run the unit overnight and I live about 300 feet from the pool. Has anyone done a similar thing? I am thinking of a plastic tub and a 120 VAC computer-style fan.

I've seen both a built square box, open at the bottom to shield the power supply, and the box was attached to an outside shed wall.

I've also seen a Rubbermaid box used for this purpose on the ground with just small cut outs for the cords.

My power supply lives year round mounted inside a large lifetime deck box that sits on my deck next to the pool.
I do have an umbrella that gets deployed daily during the dog days of summer that shades the box some. I don’t have a fan in the box because I didn’t want anything to be able to get in the box over the winter etc. in the winter the robot also lives in there

I cut out holes large enough for the cord ends to go through (1 1/4” maybe?) & then put those cable face plates with the rubber sweeps over them so i can leave the lid closed but also get the cord in & out easily but the hole remains relatively closed up if i want to store the robot. Last winter nothing made its way in.
