Quikrete Mason sand under pool

Hello,
We took our old abg pool down and we are putting up a new saltwater 5000.
The bottom has sand still but could use a little more where it washed out in places.
Is the Quikrete Mason sand ok to use?

We have 1 inch xps foam the we are also putting down on top of the sand.
