Quick set return with hose fitting inside the pool?

I have a Quick Set pool with a very high end pump and filter. I can't get the manual vacuum to work. Air in the pump, no amount of effort to prime is working.

I would like to just replace the return outlet from the pool to the pump with one that I can put an adapter on to accept the vacuum hose inside of the pool and just skip the priming completely. None of the pool stores have been able to answer this.

Anyone know what will work?

I was sort of hoping that this Intex kit and skimmer vac adapter would work, but one of the pool places didn't seem to think so.

That kit will work on your pool. Depending upon what size it is, you might have to cut out the holes a little larger to install the intake and return fittings, but that's easy to do with an Xacto knife.

The intakes are threaded for a vacuum adapter, but I don't see one included with that kit. You'll still need that unless your vacuum already has one.

Depending upon what your intakes are like now, that may be all you need. If you have the dual intakes, you'll need to plug one of them to get decent suction from your vacuum.
