Question about salt test

I received a Taylor k2006c today. I noticed there are instructions for the salt test on the lid. Does it come with the salt test because I ordered the k1766 test which hasn't arrived yet. Do I need this ? I thought I read on here that I need both.....

That's confusing lol. Well the salt test kit is in the mail so I should be all set
