Question about pool cleaner on ebay

I'm in the market for a new pool cleaner and my local pool store sells the Pentair Prowler 920 for $1500. I found what seems to be an identically brand new model on eBay for half price. Is this legit or am I going to get some kind of refurbished model?

You probably won’t have any kind of warranty from the ebay purchase. Marina Pool probably sells that model for close to that price with free shipping and no tax. I got a Pentair Warrior SE from them 1.5 years ago for $699. My motor just went out and Pentair sent me a new one free. That saved me $450.
