Looking to add a new pump I have a Hayward 1 1/2 hp now that I’ve had for 9yrs and looking to upgrade before this one gives out. Thinking about a 1 1/2 hp 2 speed I’m up for best pump for the money and electricity savings I run my pump 12 hrs a day . 30 ft rd 21500 gal can you all weigh in?

Jae, with no unique water features or plumbing demands, you could probably go with anything from a 1 to a 1.5 HP. Certainly stick with a 2-speed for energy savings. As for the make/model pump, several would work. Of course the big names are most popular, and the good thing about that is that if you stick with the same brand, the plumbing sizes should be the same. But you will want to confirm that during your research. Thanks for posting.
