Pump speed adding dry cya

So I’m adding more cya powered form, I have a skimmer sock and poured out over that. I’m not using a foot sock since I tried that last time and I don’t think anything was dissolving ( still packed there morning after)

anyways, I know I should leave pump on 24 hours, does it need to be high speed, or will low be fine?

If I work with it, squeezing every few minutes it usually only takes a half hour or so for a pound or two using sock method. First time I let it hand and yes it was still there in morning.

So it’s safe to have your hand submerged and continually squeezing? I know it’s not muriatic acid, but it still says acid, so I’m cautious of touching

Yup all my skin in place! . I was nervous too at first.

It's a very mild acid. It might irritate your eyes, but your hand will be fine. All you want to ensure is a steady flow of water. i donlt think the speed is critical.
