Hey guys just changed out the seals and gaskets on my old superpump 1hp, this thing has to be at least 15years old. Turned everything back on and it doesn't leak anymore however I have some odd noises coming from it. I want to know what you guys think. Honestly I probably need a new pump, It had some loudness to it before I changed the seals but it was consistent. Have a look at the video I posted here. I am having a ton of trouble with the pool if you follow some of the older threads from a year or two ago.
Thanks

When a pump leaks from a shaft seal, the bearings can get wet and start to rust. Over time, they will likely fail. It is up to you as to how to proceed but you might wait a bit longer and see how it progresses. If the bearings fail or become too noisy, you can either:

1. Replace the bearings
2. Replace the motor
3. Replace the entire pump
