Pump/Motor help

I think that Everbilt is a Home Depot brand.

So, they are going to have it made by someone else.

They might have Pentair make it or just a knockoff company.

Either way, going with a whole new pump is probably the best solution.

I don't have an opinion if the Everbilt would be better or worse than the Flotec.

Well, Lowes missed their Tuesday delivery date, but the pump finally arrived today and I got it installed. One advantage of using the same pump is that I didn’t have to change the plumbing at all. I cut the output pipe and then unscrewed it from the top of the pump and then repaired it with a coupling. And for the input I just spun the whole pump to unscrew it and did the same with the new pump to screw it on, so I didn’t have to cut that pipe at all.

I’m waiting for the PVC glue on the coupling to set and then I’ll fill it with water and turn it on and test it:)

Thanks again for all the help:)
