Pump is out of commision, opened up spa & skimmer to drain to drain pool some before Milton hits but no water is coming out

Can't use pump, it's currently out of commission (waiting for new part to arrive, some bolts for the backplate)

Without pump I would have thought gravity would help push some water out but that's not happening. Is there anything else I can do here to see if I can drain at least some water out? I don't need that much drained.

Stay safe.
A garden hose maybe. Can you lay a hose from the pool to a location which is lower than the water level and siphon some water out. If having difficulty in starting the water flow, get a drill "pump" attachment for garden hoses, or a submersible pump.

Get a cheap sump pump from HD/Lowes. Great tool to have. Stay Safe.

We tried Harbor Freight just recently and I think we arrived right after they closed for Milton - luckily Home Depot was nearby and still open, so we got one there instead.
