I'm having the exactly the same problem, water got into the motor assembly. And this is the second Pentair 920 failing with exactly the same problem. I'm now looking for a new cleaner. Do you have any suggestions? All of the control electronics are built into the motor assembly. The power supply is just a dumb power source with Bluetooth connectivity (and/or WiFi in some cases). Sounds like your motor is dead. The only option is to pull it out and open it up. My guess is water got into it and something shorted out. They are not really serviceable. Pentair/Maytronics charges $450-$500 for a new motor assembly if it’s not covered under warranty. In that case, it’s better just to toss the robot and buy new.
