Pro-strength vacuuum hose okay for bottom suckers?

Is a pro-strength vacuum hose okay for a barracuda, or the bottom suckers, or is that just for vacuuming?

It's a heavier hose and another year warranty, FWIW. I just try to be the best of whatever I purchase.

Also, I've never had a swivel cuff, and didn't know about that. Should make my little bottom sucker run better without getting the hose all tangled up?
