I need some ideas on how to get privacy in this corner. This is how it has been since we moved here and we share the back retaining wall with the neighbor above us. I will send a more updated picture. We just want them completely blocked out and to not have to see them at all. The neighbor will cut his side of the grass behind the second wall and you are able to see him when in the pool. It’s the far right corner where the compass grass used to be. That has been taken out and replaced with an emerald green in hopes that will do the job. I will take another picture.

Oooh. That's a tough on due to placement. 
Not sure it's realistic to build something (i.e. lattice). You would need some high growing plants for sure. The only thing I can think of that would grow high and thick is bamboo, but depending on the type of bamboo, it can have its own pros & cons. Maybe others will have some ideas.

They seriously grew 3’ per year the first 7 years of planting. I had a very similar problem-not anymore!!!
Would it be ok to have a green giant planted that close in between the two walls? I’m thinking it’s fine since there is already a full grown crepe Myrtle in between now.

These were planted 8 years ago. They were 3’ tall when planted. After the first year of getting established, that’s when the growth rate started around 3’ per year. They are approximately 25’- 30’ tall now.
I didn’t think about the deer! My back yard is fenced in so they really can’t get in. I have tied bars of Irish spring soap to limbs about 3-4 feet from the ground for my other plants in the front yard. That seemed to really work.
