I changed the sand in my filter a few days ago, pool was running fine, pressure gauge was sitting at its usual just under 10. Today i hear what sounds like an airplane, i go out to assess and the motor is hot and SO loud. The pressure gauge is now reading 0.
The filter is full of water and return jets are strong with no changes, what is happening?? I cleared the baskets of debris. Still 0! I attached a video of the sound and pictures of the filter and motor information.
If the return jets are functioning fine and the pool is filtering adequately, is the 0 pressure gauge an issue? It’s backwashing and rinsing fine too. The loud motor is new but I am assuming it’s old and on its way out.
