My thoughts and prayers are for the many, many folks for whom getting their pool back to decent shape is the last of their problems.
Thought it would be worth it to start a thread for the many folks post Milton and Helene who may be thinking about their pool.
We're adding about a gallon of chlorine a day and occasionally running our robot (we have a small generator) to mix up the water.
Once power is restored (days or weeks) we'll dial it in and get things properly balanced.
We don't have debris in the pool... Our enclosure wasn't damaged.
Thoughts?
There are tons of companies with ads to fix/drain pools after these disasters. I know the TFP method will give folks back their pools once they can run the filter again.

Glad you made it through ok.

I'd brush well upon adding bleach to make sure it doesnt puddle up on the floor, then run the robot for a cycle to help disperse it well.

You can go as such indefinitely. It'll eventually get dirty with no filtering, but it'll be sanitary and not a swamp.

Crystal clear dirty is a thing. I had it for the 6 to 8 weeks it took to grow grass after the build. :ROFLMAO:
