Possible ways to capture DE when pumping to waste?

My sewer is pretty far from the pump and not really possible to get a discharge line to. I usually pump backwash into the yard but the DE is adding up in the soil. Is there a way to capture the de to dispose of separately? Is there a device available or anyone know of any diy methods?

Do a google search for DE backwash filter bag. You filter out the dirt and DE and toss it.

Or do what I do -- use cellulose DE replacement. It's biodegradable. And yes, it really is. It even biodegrades in the filter if you go too long with it, and forms a black goo that won't backwash but has to be blasted off with a hose. That's only after 6 months or so, in my experience.
