Possible problem with chemistry.

Today I am showing signs of slight green on walls of pool. I had slammed it over a week ago and FC was coming down from 16 to 7.5 yesterday. Added 2 3/4 cups of bleach per poolmath and noticed the walls today. I have been trying to sweep walls once a week, maybe I need to do this more often? Water is clear but walls definitely have slight green. Or maybe I need to up the FC a bit more just until the hot weather here in Florida cools a bit more. Thoughts?

When you say SLAM, you mean you were constantly keeping your FC at shock level for your CYA until all three tests were passed? Pass OCLT, CC .5 or less and clear water?

Yes, I did all that last week and the FC slowly drifted down to 7.5. I thought that 7.5 was high enough to keep the algae at bay. Again, do I just need to brush more? or?
