Hello,
I have recently started loosing 1-1.5 in of water in a 24 hour period in my in ground 33,000 vinyl liner pool. Last year it started at the end of the season and I let the water level go until it stoped just above the light. I assumed it was the light and used butyl tape to seal the electrical opening in the back of the fixture. All was fine from April till now.
Its started again. I checked the light and all seems well, with leak dye. I have also run and not run the pump and water loss is the same. I have also sealed the two skimmers and return lines and water loss is the same. I’ve checked with leak dye around the skimmers with no luck.
My only other thought would be the main drain but don't have any air getting into the pump, and no hydrostatic valve.
Any thoughts would be great!
