pool just got finished have a number of pop up cleaners paramount with a debris drain in main pool. I have a spa which has a number of pops ups too but no debris drain. The spa is ground level with pool and a spillway goes to pool. WHY no debris drain in SPA. Did they forget it? Not sure why I would have pop ups in spa and no debris drain. Looks like a regular drain ??? Please help.

Welcome to the forum!

Normally, there are not cleaning heads in a spa so not sure why they did that. Maybe the hope is that the debris gets thrown up and goes over the spillway when in spillover mode.

Did you as the PB why they did this?

Post pics of the pool "debris" drain and also of the spa drain.
I suspect that they are just different styles of drain cover.

With an IFCS and a pool/spa combo, many installs in AZ (and probably NV) have popups in the spa also.

Most likely the OP means a channel drain in the pool and standard drain covers in the spa. That is what mine is. Mine has 4 popups in the spa, with 2 regular drains to meet VBGA compliance. The leaves get pushed up and out of the spa over the spillway. Occasionally I have to use the net to get a few leaves but not often.
