Pool Wall sweatt?

We recently drained our pool after a pump breaking it took months to find time to fix it. The pool was too green and muddy to filter so we drained the pool and power washed it. After washing there are two spots that won't dry. It is like water is leaking through the wall into the pool. We have suspected a pool leak for a while but didn't expect the leak to not have any visible cracks. Is this something to be worried about? Is it patchable/fixable or needs complete resurfacing? Thanks for your opinions.

Welcome to TFP.

What is the finish on the surface of the pool?

How old is the finish?

How high is the water table on your area?

You have landscape irrigation around the area?

Show us pictures of the pool and the problem area.

Sorry it wouldnt let me upload pictures from my phone. We have a pebble tech finish and we dont know how old it is. We live in So Cal on a hill so I dont think the water table is a factor. There is landscaping around the pool but water valves are not near the pool. Any suggestions?

You really should fill the pool and then see what a bucket test shows.

Finaly the water stopped leaking back into the pool. I am assuming it was just wet from the surrounding ground coming through the wall. I turned the sprinklers down and waited. There is a crack on the step above and I assume the pool had been leaking into the crack and took a while to dry out. I have patched the crack with A+B epoxy. I will fill up the pool and see how it goes.
