Pool skim set up

Hi, finally tried to install the pool skim. Can someone tell me if this looks right? It is kinda loud and very shaky...a few times it has crept up and fell apart... I also bought the fine bag but couldn’t figure out how to install since no clip. I put it inside the blue bag and they kinda float out of water.

Sorry all new to the pool stuff myself but why do you need the floating skimmer when there’s a wall skimmer beside it

I am planning to keep the pool open instead of closing for winter and thought maybe the pool skim can help in the fall w all the leaves...maybe that is an overkill? It looks like a good product except now I dunno if I had installed it right and maybe you are right, I don’t really need it??

Oh ok I’m really not sure about it I just put up a intex pool and it had a floating skimmer but then I installed a wall skimmer on it and it’s been so much better sorry not much help for you here
