My pump isn’t pumping. It was working fine. Then the pool got drained accidentally and the pump ran all day without water. The motor comes on. The impeller turn’s but no suction. I tried putting the inlet hose in a bucket to see if I could get it to work. After a couple of times trying it sucked once. And not for long. Now nothing. Please help.

Please post some pics of the pump and the entire equipment pad from 2 or 3 angles so we can see everything. It's possible the plumbing going IN to the pump (or the pump itself) overheated and warped a bit creating an air suction leak making it difficult to prime, but pics might help.
